Technical Assistance Workshop
on February 22, 2010, 1:00 - 4:00pm
Arts for All is launching its newest online resource, The Professional Development Directory on LAArtsEd.org. The searchable directory will provide centralized access to quality, peer reviewed arts education professional development. The site will feature professional development opportunities to serve the unique needs of the diverse community of educators, inclusive of generalist teachers, arts specialists, teaching artists and school and arts administrators that bring high quality arts instruction to Los Angeles County students.
To be listed on the site, individuals and organizations that provide professional development in arts education must submit an electronic application form, all required supplemental materials, and be approved by a peer panel comprised of arts organizations, artists, educators and parents.

Attend this technical assistance workshop to:
- Experience professional development that embodies the Arts for All Professional Development Directory review criteria
- Identify and build connections between the review criteria and your own work
- Explore ideas on how to deepen your work as professional development providers
- Learn more about the Web site and how you can apply to have your programs listed.
